UNO With reference to your letter No.24628/1920 of the 2nd instant relative to the smuggling of arms and ammunition from Canada to China, I am directed by Earl Curzon of Kedleston to suggest that, if Lord Milner sees no objection, instructions should be sent to the Governor of Hongkong to communicate reports on this subject to His Majesty's Minister at Pekin and to His Majesty's Consul-General at Canton direct, and to mention when reporting to the Colonial Office, whether this has been done.
